USM’s production of “Triumph of Love” received mention in the Portland Press Herald on March 10. The cast of the show also appeared on WCSH-TV’s “207” on March 11. “Triumph of Love” is directed by USM Associate Professor of Theatre Assunta Kent, with musical direction by USM Artist Faculty Ed Reichert.
MPBN interviewed Admiral William E. Leigher on March 8 about how the Navy is responding to new threats that range from criminal hacking to foreign espionage. Leigher was also interviewed by WMTW-TV Channel 8 (no link available) at the Corporate Partner’s breakfast on March 9. He was the featured speaker at this event. WCSH-TV Channel 6 interviewed Leigher on March 9 about his visit to USM and what he thinks of the students.

Muskie Professor Charles Colgan was quoted in a March 4 Lewiston Sun Journal article about wind power jobs. Colgan reported that wind power in Maine has turned into a significant economic opportunity. A report written by Colgan stated that wind power has created 240 jobs in Maine so far.
