The August issue of Governing discusses ways to save Maine’s Master of Public Administration program, including moving it into the Muskie School.  Muskie School Executive Director Mark Lapping is quoted.

Professor Susan Feiner (Economics, Women’s and Gender Studies) has published “Gender Values: The Costs of War” in On The Issues Magazine.

The Saco Drive-In, which is being run by three USM business majors this summer, is included in the article “Down at the Drive-in.” USM student Patric Brophy is quoted stating, “We’re trying to apply what we’ve learned in school, fresh out of the box.” (No link available.) The July 27 Portland Press Herald “Food Dispatches” informed readers that English Lecturer Margaret Reimer, presented “Feeding the Poor: Bridgton’s Town Farm” at the Bridgton Historical Museum.
