Former women’s basketball standout named Appalachia State head coach

On October 1, Boxscore World Sportswire reported that Angel Elderkin, a former USM women’s basketball player who helped lead the Huskies to three Little East Conference championships in the late 1990s, was named Appalachian State Women’s basketball head coach.
