The USM Student Exhibition, “Loosely Bound: Works of USM Student Book Artists,” will be on display from Tuesday, April 6-Monday, May 3 in Special Collections on the 6th floor of USM’s Glickman Family Library, Portland. An opening reception will be held 4-6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 6. The exhibit is free and open to the public during library hours: 10 a.m.-11:p.m., Sundays; 7:45 a.m.-11 p.m., Mondays-Thursdays; 7:45-8 p.m., Fridays; and 10 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturdays.
The exhibition will feature a variety of artists’ books by students in Rebecca Goodale’s USM class, “Visual Book: Historic Influences” which met at the University College at Bath/Brunswick. Student artists represented in the exhibition include:
