    Does any one have any statistics on the number of transgender students attending colleges through out the country? Or does any one know where I might search to find such information?

    Dear Barb,
    That is a very hard statistic to find for a number of reasons. Trans people are not always out of the closet and currently there is no one umbrella organization that keeps track of all trans people in the United States or in the college systems. A good person to ask for more information regarding trans people is Alex at Maine trans net. The website is http://www.mainetransnet.org/ or you can find him on facebook. I hope that helps.
