More EMail Scams

This weekend there is a very targeted scam announcing itself as relating to your “UMS Webmail Account.” Furthermore it appears to be from a valid @maine.edu address.

The message is a hoax.

Do not reply to it.

Do not ever share your password with anyone.

We are working to remove this message and others like it from the incoming email stream and ask for your patience and diligence while we do so. You, however, are the front line in making sure these scams do not succeed in their goals.

Do not ever share your password with anyone.

Any message that asks for your password is a scam.
